Talent Garden formed in Italy in 2011 in the coworking sector, with a focus on networks and skills development, in addition to physical workplaces. Over the past six years, the company has grown significantly in the digital education market and provides services to students, professionals, and large European companies. Talent Garden is available in several important European markets such as Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Denmark, and Ireland.
Hyper Island and Talent Garden will jointly become a leading EduTech player in Europe with expected revenues in 2022 of EUR 50 million. 20,000 graduates will be expected to pass through each year, with 5,000 students placed in the labor market, with a placement rate of 98%, and more than 4,500 startups and digital innovators who will set up their workplaces on the group’s campuses. Hyper Island and Talent Garden, together, have about 250 employees in total as well as hundreds of closely collaborating speakers, supervisors, and trainers on three continents.

Talent Garden is subscribing to new shares in Hyper Island and will purchase some shares from existing shareholders. The deal will be completed in December and will mean that Talent Garden will own 54% of Hyper Island. The remaining 46% will continue to be owned by today’s main owners, including Fredrik Månsson, Patrik Salén, Mikael Ahlström,and Jonathan Briggs who is one of the founders of Hyper Island. The private equity fund, NEA Partners, which is run by Jacob Brögger and Erik Ekfeldt will sell its entire holding after being part of four successful years with Hyper Island.
